TRAINING at MMSC

At Melton Mowbray Sailing Club we pride ourselves on providing good quality RYA recognised instruction from the very beginner to the more advanced training. All of our instructors are RYA trained, with first aid training. We have been providing training for many, many years and we always aim to get everyone through the course and up to the required standard. Often we manage to achieve having an instructor between 2 trainees, which gives a higher quality of training, also, the same instructor often stays with the same pair, allowing for a more personal approach and allowing the instructor to better tailor the course to the trainees needs.

This year (2010) there will be both a Spring and Autumn Course for RYA levels 1 & 2.
For more information on training, don't hesitate to contact our Chief Instructor IAN GAMBLE.

PARENTS PLEASE NOTE: There are risks in sailing and all water activities. Cadets can only be accepted as members if a parent or guardian is an Ordinary, Family or Social Member. YOUR PROTECTION

The Club has Policies in place for Child Protection, and for Health and Safety.
Further information on these is available in the Clubhouse.

We ask you for your own safety to declare any disability or medical condition which might increase your risk whilst sailing. This should be discussed initially in confidence with a Senior Instructor or an Instructor.

SECURITY / VALUABLES

You are advised not to leave valuables in the changing rooms, and to ensure that property is not left in view in your car, which should be locked.
