Cadet Club

This year sees the introduction of a Cadet Club on alternate Saturdays during the summer, the first session is due to take place on Saturday 2nd May.

We hope to encourage our younger members to take to the water and enjoy themselves whilst learning a few tips from the more experienced sailors in the club.

Our plan is to assess their ability and possibly split them into groups which will allow them to gain confidence and improve at their own pace. There will be a mixture of informal training (this is NOT an 'RYA training course'), organised games and short races.

Parents of the children taking part are expected to help out with the rigging and launching of the dinghies and safety boat and any assistance you can provide to the cadet club leaders will be appreciated.
